Repairing small cracks prevents greater damage

Prevent severe damage to the building fabric: You can easily repair at least small cracks in a façade yourself.

In the long term, cracks in façade rendering often lead to considerable damage in the building fabric. Therefore, even small cracks should be repaired quickly. We will tell you how.

First of all, widen the crack slightly using a wide flat chisel and remove loose wall remains. If the subsurface is dry, you should also dampen it.

Now press the sealing compound evenly into the crack using a cartridge. A special acrylic-based façade sealing compound is best suited to this. Do not under any circumstances use silicone because paint does not stick to it.

Remove the surplus sealing compound, smooth the entire area with clear water and leave it to dry. If required, you can now paint the wall.
