Viscous paint (dispersed = finely distributed) consisting of bonding agents and solvents, colourants (pigments) and additives. The everyday term for any standard wall paint. Strictly speaking, these are usually synthetic resin emulsion paints. But natural emulsion paints are increasingly also being offered. These use natural instead of synthetic ingredients, for example linseed oil or castor oil.
