      Keep inaccuracies at a distance

      The folding rule has got competition. You can use a laser rangefinder to measure distances, sizes, areas and volumes more quickly, precisely and easily than ever before.

      Procedure:

      How to obtain pinpoint accurate measuring results in only a few seconds:

      Place the rangefinder on the surface. An integrated bubble vial helps you to precisely align it in a horizontal position. You can measure from the front or back edge of the instrument as required.

      Accurately aim at the target using the laser point and the viewfinder.

      All you have to do is press a button and then you can conveniently read the result on the large display. The measurement accuracy is ±2 mm (regardless of distance). Volumes and areas can also be quickly and easily measured in this way.

      Frequently asked questions

      • What has to be observed when using laser rangefinders in indoor areas?

        • The path between the measuring instrument and the measuring object must be free of obstacles. You therefore have to measure past obstacles.

          Measuring errors can also occur if smoke or dust absorb or partially reflect the measuring beam.

      • Is laser radiation dangerous?

        • The lasers used in Bosch measuring tools correspond to laser class 2, which is classed as safe. There is therefore no need for any particular safety measures. In general, however, laser beams should never be aimed directly into the eyes, regardless of their protection class.

      • How do I find the right spare part for my power tool?

        • In the spare parts catalogue you will find all the exploded drawings for our tools from the last 25 years. Here you will easily be able to identify your required spare part. Have the part number of the tool or its trade name at the ready. You will need to enter it to quickly find the right spare part.
